A complete mystery to me

It could be a heart or an apple - but I see it as representing a doorway you pass through on your journey of growth and awakening

Above them, the potential of flight; behind them, oblivion. In this precarious moment they cling together with fragile grip; the high key and subdued colouration of the painting enhance the feeling of height, adrenaline and thin air.
