During the war, he often came into contact with the Jedi, such as Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano. Although it survived for the duration of the war, his gang was dissolved with the rise of the Galactic Empire, after which Hondo cast adrift as a small time pirate
