Each item is lovingly handmade in my studio in Vancouver, BC. This item will get hot to the touch if boiling liquid is poured inside (i. e. tea, americano,) recommended use is for lattes. As for all handmade items, I recommend that they are hand washed and not used in the dishwasher. However as there are no metallics and the item is fully glazed
