The base of this was originally produced as an incense censer, from Yunnan's Huaning Kiln in around the late Qing early ROC period. We thought it would make a nice tea tray & asked a Yunnan silversmith to hand hammer a lid using 99% pure tin and finish them with a brass rim and centre decoration for the water hole.
