Het wordt gevormd door vier verschillende materiaallagen die elkaar aanvullen en het kompres haar optimale eigenschappen verlenen. Dit niet verklevend absorberend verband heeft een centraal cellulose wondkussen bedekt door een zeer zacht niet verklevend nonwoven. Zetuvit is ook leverbaar in een Plus versie. Deze heeft een nog hoger absorberend vermogen.
