Altbier Kit Yeast Selection:White Labs Next Gen we've had customers use thisHearty, mild German copper ale. This style is often overhopped in American brewpub renditions. Kit includes over six pounds of malt extract, a pound of crushed blended German grains, German hops and liquid German yeast. Not sure what altbier is? Think Oktoberfest like Marzen, but not lagered. The included yeast DOES prefer fermenting at the cooler end of the ale spectrum, so keep it in the 60s if possible.
