Another tintype from the same lot that this came out of were identified as members of the Tillman family of Fayetteville, Tennessee. With some light research I found a record for a Colonel James Davidson Tillman from Fayetteville, as well as his brother Lewis Tillman (b. Nov 1845) who also served either is a possibility, I
